Children's Story Hour

This week at Story Hour:

Last week, the children had a special request for DINOSAUR BOOKS. Since we aim to please at story hour, we’ll be reading about the extinct (Woops! Shhh, they don't know they're extinct, thanks to these fabulous picture books) ...ahem, I mean, the distinct creatures.

Our pre-historic book selections include:

“How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight?” by Jane Yolen
“If The Dinosaurs Came Back” by Bernard Most
“Dinosaurs Love Underpants” by Claire Freedman
The Littlest Dinosaur’s Big Adventure” by Michael Foreman
“Buying, Training and Caring For Your Dinosaur” by Laura Joy Rennert & Marc Brown

And just as a recommendation: If you have kids at home starting to read on their own, “Danny And The Dinosaur,” by Syd Hoff is a classic and one of our all time favorite “I Can Read” Books. Two years ago, it was re-released in a 50th Anniversary edition. You can find it, along with many other great “I Can Read” titles, on the shelves at Barrington Books!
